Dan's professional voice career began in New York in 1996, on-air as "The Doctor," with Poughkeepsie's Classic Rock station, 101.5 WPDH-FM. He was promoted to full-time evenings in 1999 until 2001.

In 2005, Dan enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. His subsequent tenure as a Non-Commissioned Officer guided his efforts in the production of audiobook titles for the Marine Corps Professional Reading Program. Dan provides narration for many Professional Military Distance Education courseware titles for the U.S. Marine Corps, including the Advanced Course, Career Course, Sergeants Course, and Leading Marines Course.

Dan returned to the airwaves in 2010, beginning with Thunder 106 WKMK-FM in Neptune, NJ and ending with Cat Country 107.3 WPUR-FM Atlantic City, NJ.

In 2014, Dan began work as a background actor in television and film. He appeared in many prime-time television productions to include Person of Interest, The Following, Madam Secretary, The Blacklist, Blue Bloods, and Law & Order: SVU. 2015 marked Dan's first principal acting role on Network Television as a Day-Player (Blair County Cop #1) on Season 5 of LOUIE on FX.

Dan retired from the Marine Corps in October 2019 following a four-year active duty mobilization with Wounded Warrior Battalion-East, as a Section Leader at Camp Lejeune, NC, and as the Staff Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge at Fort Belvoir, VA. During this time, he lent his talents as Narrator and Emcee to numerous high-profile Marine Corps ceremonies and events, and continued his commercial and educational voiceover production in his off-duty hours.

Following the completion of his BA in Computer Science from Thomas Edison State University in 2021, Dan went to work for the U.S. Army and now serves in the civilian ranks as an Administrative Officer. He remains active as a free-lance voice actor and producer of audio, video, web, and new media content.
