Biography

Dan launched his professional voice career in New York in 1996 as “The Doctor” on Poughkeepsie’s Classic Rock station, 101.5 WPDH-FM. His on-air success led to a full-time weeknight hosting role from 1999 to 2001, establishing the broadcast foundation that continues to define his work today.

In 2005, Dan enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, where he leveraged his broadcast expertise as a Non-Commissioned Officer to support Marine Corps professional military education. He has narrated multiple audiobooks for the Marine Corps Professional Reading Program and voiced extensive courseware for the College of Distance Education and Training, including Leading Marines, Sergeants Course, Career Course, and Advanced Course.

Dan returned to commercial radio in 2010, holding on-air positions at Thunder 106 WKMK-FM in New Jersey and Cat Country 107.3 WPUR-FM in Atlantic City.

Expanding into television and film in 2014, Dan appeared in numerous high-profile network productions, including Person of Interest, Madam Secretary, The Blacklist, Blue Bloods, and Law & Order: SVU. In 2015, he secured his first principal network role as a day player on Season 5 of LOUIE (FX).

Dan retired from the Marine Corps in 2019 following a four-year active-duty mobilization with Wounded Warrior Battalion–East. He served as a Section Leader and as Detachment Fort Belvoir’s Staff Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge, while also acting as narrator and emcee for numerous high-visibility Marine Corps ceremonies. Throughout this period, he continued delivering commercial and educational voiceover productions.

After earning a BA in Computer Science from Thomas Edison State University in 2021, Dan transitioned to federal civilian service with the U.S. Army, where he currently serves as an IT Specialist. He remains active as a freelance voice actor and producer, providing professional audio, video, web, and new media solutions.
